Hugo’s Pizza was founded in 1974 in Ashland, WI by Frank and Joyce Ledin, who named the restaurant after his father. In 1993, Frank’s daughter Colleen moved to Merrill and opened a second Hugo’s Pizza, which has operated since that time in the heart of Merrill.
